The article considers the population migration phenomenon in the light of social synergy. The author analyzes the essence of modern migration processes in the scope of globalization. She has undertaken an attempt of synergetic comprehension of historic role of migration, modern trends and its growth regularities, factors of migration processes, aspects of their influence on different social systems.
